Julie

Hi, Im Julie, and I am proud to welcome you to our practice! I have been working in orthodontics for over 20 years. I love working with all of our patients, and seeing the positive changes in their self-esteem over time. My team is wonderful, their enthusiasm and professionalism make this practice a great place for patients of all ages.

I am a native of Wilmington, having moved to Florida for a short time, only to return to this area. I have one pet cat, named Zora that I rescued from neighborhood bullies. When Im not at the practice, I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, attending music festivals and concerts, camping, and spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy doing volunteer work, and spent a lot of time working with Meals on Wheels in Florida.

Kylie

Hello and welcome! My name is Kylie and I have worked in the orthodontic field for over six years. I began working in orthodontics because, after working in dentistry, I felt it would be something new in the dental field, and Im still here! My favorite thing about working in orthodontics is seeing the smiles of our patients, and being able to work with so many wonderful, unique people.

I am originally from Wilmington, but having grown up in a military family, I spent time living in Germany, Washington state, and Alabama. My husband, Chris, and I enjoy spending time together. We have four pets, Angel, Boo, Sera, and Amy, that keep us very busy and very entertained! When Im not at the practice, I love travel to new and exciting places!

Leslie

Hi there, my name is Leslie. I have been working in the orthodontic field for over 15 years and at this practice for over nine. I love working with people and getting to know them. Seeing how their smiles and confidence change over time, and how happy they are after each treatment, are just a few of the things that make my job so enjoyable. Our team is also great. We work so well together, and we know how to create a fun, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere for our patients.

I am originally from Wilmington, although I have moved around a lot, living in California, Canada, and Taiwan (just to name a few). Eventually I returned home, and Im so happy to be here. When Im not at the practice, I look forward to spending time with my family. I love riding bikes with my daughter, going to movies, and of course, shopping!  The newest addition to our family is Bella Trasella, our golden retreiver puppy!!

Katherine

Hello, I'm Katherine. I started working with Dr. Phillips and the team this year. I love working in orthodontics because of all the wonderful, interesting people I've had the opportunity to meet. Seeing the smiling faces of our patients each day makes this an extremely rewarding profession. I love watching when our patients have their braces removed, and seeing how happy they are with their beautiful new smiles. Our team is very dedicated to meeting the needs of our patients, and we all work together to provide an exceptional experience, and the best care possible.

I am a Wilmington native, and have lived here my entire life. When Im not at the practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, running and exercising, and I love going to the beach.

Madeline

Hi, my name is Madeline. I just recently joined Dr. Phillips and the team!  I love working with our young patients, helping build their confidence, and giving them beautiful, healthy smiles. Its amazing to see the transformation our patients make throughout their treatments, and how happy they always are with the end results. Our team is very talented, experienced, and professional, and we all have such incredible personalities that its hard not to smile when you come to this practice.

I was born and raised here in Wilmington.  I love the beach, reading, relaxing and just having fun on my time off.  Something fun about me, I speak four languages fluently!!

Hi there, my name is Susan, and I have been working in orthodontics for over 25 years. I started working with Dr. Phillips and the team in 2001, and I am so happy to be a part of this practice. My favorite thing about working in orthodontics is observing the process. Its so fun and rewarding to watch our patients transform from a work in progress to having a million dollar smile! I also enjoy meeting and interacting with our patients and their families. Its a privilege to be a part of our patients lives, and I enjoy sharing in their excitement as they work toward achieving a beautiful, healthy smile. Our young patients keep me feeling young with their energy and enthusiasm. Its also very gratifying to see the number of adult patients we have who realize its never too late to have a beautiful smile. I appreciate Dr. Phillips for his personal and professional integrity, and his commitment to always serve the best interests of his patients. His genuine, caring attitude and great sense of humor inspire patients and team members alike. I love being a part of and working with our orthodontic team.

I am originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and have lived in Wilmington for 30 years. When I am not at the practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and watching movies. I have three sons, Randy, Mark, and Scott, and two lovely daughter-in-laws. I also have one grandson, born in October, who I love to spend time all my free time with! I teach an adult Sunday school class and sing in the choir at my church. My oldest son is the lead singer of the heavy metal band Lamb of God, and I recently had the chance to party with Metallica!

Hi, my name is Steph and I have worked in the orthodontic field for over 3 years.  I love working with Dr. Phillips and seeing the beautiful smiles on our patients.  Every patient is special and unique and it's a joy to see the different personalities on a day to day basis.  Our team is amazing!  We are just like a family where we take care of each other and have a lot of fun in the process!

I am originally from Fairfax, VA and have lived in Wilmington for about 2 years now.  When not at the office, I enjoy surfing, riding bikes, playing cards and spending time with my dog, Bosko.  When you come in, be sure to check out my nail color, I change it almost every week!
